Answer Each person is different and each disease process has its own speed. A fast disease (like a cold, which comes and goes in days) can be helped along its way and will clear up quickly. A slow disease (like arthritis, which builds up over years) will not suddenly speed up and clear quickly. Constitutionally based remedies trigger self-healing. Self-healing tends to be slow and steady. It does not always produce instant relief of symptoms. In any form of chronic, repetitive illness it is best to treat classical homeopathy as a long term project in which self-understanding and self-healing will develop over time. Chronic illness can heal in time, with good treatment and good living. I generally suggest a consultation once every six weeks until there is clear improvement in health. |
